Darklight STable's bred stallion "Hollow's fall"

It wasn't an easy life, being the young offprsing of a chance mating between a Kelpie and a Nightmare. Neither sire nor dam was the parenting type and his dam's fierce moodswings had made him keep his distance from colthood. He still bore the scar on his hind quarter where the mare's sharp hoof had kicked him.
It had been one of those times, one where her tantrum had sent him fleeing in terror that, running blindly, had seen him fall and tumble as the earth beneath him had given away after several months of nothing but rain. Cold, shivering and scared, he'd found one of the blocked up entrances to the Valley's underground caves.
Now almost fully grown, the young stallion was still exploring, finding new places brining more exhiliration to his blood and more thrill to his being than he'd ever thought possible.
The network of caves and passages ran under much of Darklight Valley, and Hollow's fall found himself often peeking through cracks no one could see, or standing hidden in the shades of an unknown outcrop watching, ever watching the other creatures of the valley. Oh, how he yearned to run with them, play with them...
Such throughts brought little more than steel claws squeezing his heart. Still he feared to be among them.
He was the outsider, ever the outsider...always alone...always watching...
