I was working on the horse when put up her notice of racers needing to have been created as of 08 june to participate - so I kind a hurried through it as well as stole two old backgrounds from previous paintings I made.... Hence why this is in scraps - I'll try and update it with a better version when I have time.

Mae looked into the ring, where the horses from the last sale race were being led around in a circle, passing the potential buyers at every half lap. No, this definatly wasn't what she'd wanted. For so long, she'd wanted a Thuroughbred at the Stable. After all, most of the horses were of a lighter build and tended to consist mainly of arabian dereviatives.
But with the entryfees to the shows they'd been competing in lately - trying to get the stable out there, showing the world that while they were small, they carried good stock and good foundations - as well as the breedings (which never came cheap, despite some severe negotiations) they were seriously short on money. Not that they'd had that much of it in the first place.
"Well..you're the boss " Sam looked over the potential mare, trying not to wince. At least she'd be cheap, everyone else seemed to have spotted her faults too. "She's down as a sprinter..." his brow furrowed. " Are you sure about this? Harlan isn't a sprinter...he's a long distance racer."
"I know...but at least it'd get him started. What's her name?"
"Says here....Ghostface."
"At least they got that part right."
