DIS foundation Mare"Amelatu" (means Gatekeeper in Sumerian)
Desert bred, Amelatu is the other mare that we brought along with us to the Valley and an Egyptian Arabian. Strong and enduring, calm and unfazeable she makes for a good endurance mount and a good counter to more excitable stallions. Not as fast as Mirage.

s contest. The first one was...err nice enough I suppose, but I've never really taken to it.
I know what captures me most about the arab - it's the only horse I know that look forlorn with a rider and always in harmony with its environment when free.
